Toilet Seat Cleaner, Sun lit Glade and Flying

Ok so not such a nice subject to dwell on, but I do think that having a small tool that you can clamp a piece of toilet paper onto, just to clean the seat would be good, much better than just holding that same piece of toilet paper.

Using more a more traditional medium today, acrylic on paper. I can't say where the inspiration for this came from but I'm really pleased with how it has turned out. There'll definatly be more of these in the future.

Today I was also able to finally take the flying lesson brought for my birthday. It was really enjoyable and both more difficult and easier than I had imagined. Below are some photos taken during the experience. Any comments, please leave them below, thanks.

Computer Desk Tidy and Assassin's Creed

This is a desk tidy I have been working on for the last couple of days. I came up with the idea after noticing two holes drilled in the side of my desk, just under where the USB ports are located on my laptop. Then I came up with the idea of using some left over HIPS (High Impact PolyStyrene) left from my A2 project with a couple of bolts and nuts and some super glue to hold it together. I used a junior hacksaw the cut the HIPS and bolts and then a file, glasspaper, wet and dry and finally wire wool to clean the edges and surfaces and shape the HIPS. Below are some working photos and the tray in use.
The original holes.

Another quick black and white digital painting, done while watching my brother play Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I am particulary pleased with how Ezio on the left came out but the castle could have been done better. Any comments below, thanks.

Pill Dispenser and Crater Beacon

So here is my first design. At the moment I have to take quite a few medicine pills each morning and evening, so this is a little dispenser which releases each pill followed by a small amount of water to help it go down.

Here is a quick digital painting of a sci-fi sort of beacon in a crater. It was only done quickly and uses some photo textures for the rocks but I'm pleased with it.
And finally here is a little something that caught my eye while shopping today in H&M, they nearly had me fooled...

So it begins...

Here we go then, this is going to be a record of the next few years of my life as I start university and study to be a product designer. I will aim to update every day with design or art work (digital or traditional) and, once I start university, a record of the work I will be doing there. I will also be posting about anything I find useful or interesting, photos, links etc. Hope you like it, lets see where this goes.
